Terms of Service
Last updated: March 16, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TracerLedger ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
TracerLedger provides cryptocurrency fraud reporting and blockchain forensic analysis services. The Service includes the generation of forensic reports, blockchain transaction tracing, exchange identification, and optional connection to cryptocurrency recovery lawyers. We offer both a free forensic report tier with self-directed follow-up and a premium coordinated recovery tier.
3. No Legal Advice
TracerLedger is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Our reports and analysis are forensic in nature and are intended to assist law enforcement investigations and legal proceedings. The lawyer connection feature facilitates introductions only — any legal relationship is between you and the lawyer. We strongly recommend consulting with a qualified legal professional for advice on your specific situation.
4. No Guarantee of Recovery
We do not guarantee the recovery of stolen cryptocurrency. Our analysis identifies where funds have moved on the blockchain, but recovery depends on many factors outside our control, including law enforcement action, exchange cooperation, and legal proceedings. The outcome assessments provided in our reports are based on forensic analysis and should not be interpreted as guarantees.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information in all case submissions
- Use the Service only for legitimate fraud reporting purposes
- Not submit false or misleading reports
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Not use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any individual
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
6. Payment Terms
Premium analysis services are priced at $2,499 CAD. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. All sales are final once the blockchain analysis has been initiated. If the analysis has not yet started, you may request a refund by contacting support. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time; changes will not affect previously purchased services.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by TracerLedger and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Reports generated for your cases are licensed for your personal use, including submission to law enforcement and legal proceedings.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, TracerLedger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or cryptocurrency, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Accuracy of Analysis
While we strive to provide accurate blockchain analysis, the nature of blockchain forensics involves interpretation and probabilistic assessments. We do not warrant that our analysis is error-free or that all funds movements will be identified. Results depend on the quality and accuracy of information you provide and the availability of blockchain data.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, submit fraudulent reports, or use the Service in a manner that could harm TracerLedger or other users. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from or related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
